The Preferred Investigation name is the unfortunately being used by scammers to trick people into cashing bad checks and completing a bank wire transfer.  Please know that Preferred Investigation will never ask you to cash checks or wire money.  You must be an employee of Preferred Investigation and be registered with the Nevada Private Investigators Licensing Board in order to legitimately conduct assignments for Preferred Investigation.  If you suspect someone is illegally representing themselves as Preferred Investigation staff, we encourage you to contact The Federal Trade Commission Complaint Submission at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov as well as your local authorities and the FBI.
